Eva Maravelias is a New York City based makeup artist specializing in special effects and beauty in both film and editorial. From an early age she was fascinated by all genres of film and was amazed by what emotions were brought out of her through the looks and feelings of characters in films. Through the years she began her obsession with fashion and editorial. She researched all she could about the fashion industry by reading books, looking at past runway collections, and collecting all types of magazines through the years.

Through her enchantment with both film and fashion she started playing with makeup at 10 years old learning to do some special effects, characters and beauty makeup. During her years in high school she practiced doing makeup on other people by doing special event makeup. Through more experience she wanted to learn more and wanted to blend beauty and character design in her work. So after she graduated high school she attended Makeup Designory in the masters program.

She looks forward to evolving and refining her art by designing more intricate and detailed character designs in both film and fashion. She continues to seek out those opportunities to bring to life characters and avant-garde art to inspire others in the same way she was inspired as a child.
